Multiple Hurt as In-Flight Disturbance Hits A Delta Airlines Flight Arriving in Sydney, Australia

Delta Airlines stated the Airbus A350 experienced "brief turbulence" as it arrived at Sydney Airport.

A number of individuals have been injured when a Delta aircraft originating in LA to Sydney encountered rough air on Friday morning.

The flight, numbered 41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it landed at the Sydney airport, an airline spokesperson stated. Several cabin crew members were injured.

Local paramedics stated they assessed five patients, and transferred three to the hospital with relatively minor issues that included back pain and head pain. The patients' ages ranged from their 30s to 70s.

It is the newest example of planes experiencing turbulence, with researchers pointing out that global warming is a significant contributor.

The aircraft was carrying 245 people and fifteen staff members on the aircraft, the representative added, adding that the plane landed "safely" at Sydney Airport at 06:48 local time on Friday.
